The fishermen and the fisher-wives took the catch over to Key Colony Inn to celebrate Pat's birthday. Someone said he did catch most of the fish. I have never seen such a huge platter of fish and it was delicious! Lots of fun with great friends.

September Fishing

Bill had a great day fishing on the Lobster Boat out of Coco Plum today catching lots of yellowtail and one 4 foot barracuda. Why would you keep a 4 foot barracuda and why would you catch it in the first place? He says, "the challenge", it was caught with a small jig and 12 pound test, no wire. He had a yellowtail on first, and then the barracuda came up and ate the yellowtail and got hooked.   When they got back to the dock, this Cuban guy named Fish who was just waiting around to see what was caught went crazy for it. That's Fish, holding up the fish! He took it home in the front basket of his bike to be enjoyed that evening by his family and friends.  Just another day of fishing in the Florida Keys.

Looks fine, but we are headed North. It's not much fun sitting inside with the shutters up, and if the power goes out and we had no electronic devices we would really be miserable.

I love the new color of the post office and City Hall. I worked the polls during the primary election. KCB had 126 votes cast out of 800 registered voters. There were about an equal number of absentee ballots cast.

They've flown the coop and we miss them. One is on the Disney Cruise celebrating a big birthday and the other is headed for New Jersey via Sarasota. They'll be back for more fun together next year.
